Instead of a traditional Italian menu, we cook in the spirit of Italy; simplicity, quality, and flavor first. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, driven by a passionate and dedicated team.

The name pays tribute to the historic “Herberg de Olyphant” and the famous elephant Hansken, bringing a unique piece of local Amsterdam history back to life.
